Lucia Watson, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIS
Speech-Language Pathologist, Owner
Lucia received her bachelor’s degree in German and Linguistics from University College Dublin, Ireland and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her master’s degree in Communication Disorders. She also holds master’s degrees in German Language and Literature and Applied Linguistics.
Lucia practiced for over 20 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving adults and adolescents in an outpatient neuro-rehabilitation program. In 2018, she founded Speech Works RI to further her lifelong dedication to working with people in a teaching and coaching capacity.
Her compassion, creativity, and dedication allow Lucia to build trusting and collaborative relationships with her clients. With a commitment to achieving lasting results, Lucia involves family and caregivers throughout the therapeutic process, making sure they have the answers and support necessary.
Combining her experience as an English as a Second Language teacher, her extensive experience as a speech-language pathologist, and advanced training, Lucia also provides accent modification training.
In her free time, Lucia enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, dancing, and travel.
